Terms and Conditions

Below are the details of our terms and conditions.

1. Quote is subject to final measure and design input from Union Living, including engineer if required.
   
2. Quote excludes any necessary electrical wiring and connections. This needs to be undertaken by a registered electrician. We can however arrange this for you.
3. Where any groundwork excavation (foundations etc) is required, the quote is based on typical soil conditions. Non-typical conditions may incur extra costs.
   
4. Quote excludes any downpipes and connection to existing storm water provisions and associated costs.
5. Quote excludes cost of any scaffolding which may be required to complete installation.
   
6. Structural integrity of existing structures where Union Living is required to fix to is the responsibility of the owner. Any strengthening work required to any existing structure is to be arranged by the owner and carried out by a qualified Licensed Building Practitioner.
   
7. This quotation excludes the cost of meeting any requirements under the Building act, any necessary building or resource consents, engineering and any other associated costs.
   
8. It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that all weather tight connections/fixings and flashings required to existing structures and claddings are carried out by a qualified Licensed Building Practitioner to ensure weather tightness is maintained in compliance with the Building Code.
   
9. Quote excludes allocation of labour for removal of any existing structures – if necessary.
   
10. The design and technical information in any proposal provided by Union Living or its consulting engineers or agents, are the sole and exclusive copyright of Union Living.
    
11. The purchaser agrees that the right to use the copyright drawings and engineering or technicalinformation is limited to contracts concerning the supply and/or installation of a structure or in part thereof in contract with Union Living.
12. Union Living can arrange for all rubbish & waste to be removed from site & leave the site in a clean state for additional charges.
    
13. Delivery of the Louvre System at client site through Hiab Truck would incur additional charges.

14. Our Payments terms are 50% Deposit on confirmation, and the remaining 50% on completion of installation within 5 working days.
    
15. Any outstanding invoice, if not paid within 30 days of the due date the customer will be charged a monthly late fee of 10% of the total invoice amount.
